Event: Permaculture Berry Patch Planting Workshop/Workbee with Trevor Newman
Trevor Newman of RootstoFruits.biz will be visiting to share his knowledge and expertise as we plant a small mixed orchard/berry patch at Realeyes Homestead. We’ll also practice grafting some rootstock. It’s something in between a workshop and workbee. Consider it an active workshop, or a relaxed workbee.
When: Saturday, May 14th 1pm to 5pm
Where: Realeyes Homestead, on Cherry Bend Rd. Traverse City, MI
How much: $15-25 sliding scale

Bring: Water (we can refill), work gloves and clothes (sturdy boots or shoes), snacks (we will have some as well), notepad and pencil, curiosity and energy, smiles. 😀
Directions: Our dirt driveway is on the right 1 mile down Cherry Bend Rd. off M22. It’s just before Orchard Creek Assisted Living Complex. Look for a post with our address number in green: 9775. The driveway is next to a brown house with a green metal roof and lush landscaping. Once on the driveway, GO SLOW. Keep left and continue over the TART trail. Keeping left until you see the Realeyes Homestead sign. Turn right at the sign, and continue till you see us!
